Just because I didn’t like the first mix I had going, I scrapped it to go for a more well-formed mix. One that presents a clear mood throughout. Just because this year has been so full of good music I limited the selections to songs that have come out in 2008. And, because this year has seen major advances for women in American politics, I decided to limit the selections even further to music performed by female artists.
