In the off chance you’re still kicking around your 4th of July plans and looking for something to do AFTER the fireworks (which of course come AFTER Sonic Youth), Glasslands is hosting a “Barack and Roll Benefit” with Phosphorescent as the headliner. Virgin Forest is opening the show, which logically kicks off immediately after the last firework bursts in the sky, and all proceeds go to support the Obama campagin.
